ద్రాక్షరామ క్షేత్రం: కోనసీమ జిల్లా, జిల్లా కేంద్రమైన రాజమండ్రి పట్టణం నకు ఆగ్నేయం దిశగా, సుమారు 50 కీ.మీ దూరంలో ద్రాక్షారామం అను చిరుపట్టణం కలదు. ద్రాక్షరామ క్షేత్రం అనాదిగా గొప్ప శైవ క్షేత్రం. దక్ష యాగం సమయంలో సతీదేవి యోగాగ్నిలోకి దూకిన ప్రదేశం ఇది. హిమవంతుడు శివ దీక్షను స్వీకరించి, తపస్సు ఆచారించిన స్ధలం. ఇచ్చట విష్ణువు సుదర్శన చక్రం కోసం శివార్చన చేసాడు. విష్ణువు తెచ్చిన వెయ్యి కమలముల నుండి ఒక దానిని శివుడు అదృశ్యము చేస్తాడు. మహా విష్ణువు కమలము వంటి తన నేత్రమును తీసి భగవంతుడికి సమర్పించుకుంటాడు. శివానుగ్రహంతో కమలాక్షుడు అయ్యాడు. అగస్యుడు దక్షిణ కాశీ క్షేత్రంగా కీర్తించాడు. క్షేత్రం నందలి సప్త గోదావరులు (కొలను) ఒడ్డున స్వయంభూవుగా వెలసిన శ్రీ భీమేశ్వర స్వామి మరియు అష్టాదశ శక్తి పీఠాలల్లో ఒకటి అయిన శ్రీ మాణిక్యాంబ అమ్మవారి దర్శనం లభ్యమవుతుంది. క్షేత్ర పాలకడు శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నారాయణడు. పూర్వం తెలుగు ప్రాంతమును త్రిలింగ దేశంగా పిలిచేవారు. త్రిలింగలల్లో శ్రీ భీమేశ్వర లింగము ఒకటిగా వర్ధిల్లుతుంది. శ్రీ భీమేశ్వర క్షేత్రం పంచారామాలలో ఒకటిగా ప్రతీతి.
ఒక సందర్భములో కాశీ అన్నపూర్ణా దేవి వ్యాసునికి కాశీ బహిష్కరణ విధించుతుంది. శాపగ్రస్తుడైన వ్యాసుడు మిక్కిలి దుఖించుతాడు. కాశీ విశ్వేశ్వరుడు ఆదేశముతో వ్యాసుడు దక్షిణ కాశీగా ఖ్యాతి గాంచిన దాక్షారామ క్షేత్రానికి పది వేల శిష్యలతో బయలు దేరుతాడు. ద్రాక్షారామ క్షేత్రం లోని శ్రీ భీమేశ్వర స్వామిని సేవించాడు. అగస్త్యుడు (మహర్షి), భీమమండలము లోని ద్రాక్షారామ పరిసర ప్రాంతాలను వ్యాసుడుకి పరిచయం చేస్తాడు. వ్యాసుడు ఆకాశ మార్గము నుంచి సమస్త భీమ మండలమును సందర్శించినాడు. కవి శ్రీనాథుడు భీమేశ్వరపురాణం నందు వ్యాసుని భీమమండల యాత్ర వర్ణించాడు.
శ్రీనాథ మహాకవి రచించిన "భీమఖండం" అను కావ్యం ద్రాక్షారామానికి సంబంధించినది. ఈ కావ్యాం నందు భీమమండలం ప్రాశస్త్యం, ఫలశృతి మొదలగునవి ఉంటాయి. భీమమండలములో గల 108 పాద శివ క్షేత్రాలు అంతరిక్షము నుంచి చూసిన ఒక పద్మాకారములో ఇమిడిపోయి దర్శనమిస్తాయి.
ద్రాక్షారామ క్షేత్రం అనాదిగా గొప్ప శైవులుకు నిలయంగా ఖ్యాతి పొందింది. 12వ శతాబ్ధము నాటి ద్రాక్షారామ భీమేశ్వరాలయం యొక్క ప్రధాన అర్చకులైన భీమన పండితులు మరియు గౌరాంబలకు శ్రీమల్లికార్జున పండితారాధ్యులు 1120 సంవత్సరంలో పుట్టారు. శ్రీమల్లికార్జున పండితారాధ్యులు వీర శైవాచార్యులుగా, వీర శైవ కవీశ్వరులుగా ప్రసిద్ధి చెందినారు. శైవ కవిత్రయంలో ఒకరుగా ఖ్యాతి గాంచినారు.
దక్షరామ క్షేత్ర దర్శనముతో సర్వ పాపములు నశించి, సకల శుభములు కలగును. శివానుగ్రహం కోసం భక్తులు అర్చనలు, అభిషేకాలు, అన్నదానం నిర్వహించుతారు.
రవాణా సమాచారం : కాకినాడ నుంచి కోటిపల్లి మీదగా నర్సాపూర్ కు రైలు మార్గం పనులు జరుగుచున్నాయి(2022). ప్రస్తుతం కాకినాడ టౌన్ నుంచి కోటిపల్లి (వయా) ద్రాక్షారామం మధ్య రైల్వే బస్ సేవలు అందుబాటులో ఉన్నాయి. ద్రాక్షారామం రైల్వే స్టేషన్ నుంచి శ్రీ భీమేశ్వరాలయం మధ్య దూరం సుమారు 2 కీల్లో మీటర్లగా ఉంటుంది.

నిత్యాన్నదానం: శ్రీ మాణిక్యాంబా సమేత శ్రీ భీమేశ్వర స్వామి వారి ఆలయం లోపల వాయువ్యం దిక్కులో సోమవారం మండపం కలదు. ఇచ్చట యాత్రికులకు నిత్యాన్నదానం జరుగుతుంది. భక్తులు ముందుగా అన్నప్రాసాదం coupons తీసుకోవాలి.

About Draksharamam:Draksharama Kshetra:Konaseema district, there is a small town called Draksharamam, about 50 km to the south-east of Rajahmundry town, the district headquarters. Draksharama Kshetra is a great Saiva Kshetra from time immemorial. This is the place where Goddess Sati jumped into the yoga fire during the Daksha Yaga. The place where Lord Himavant received Shiva's initiation and performed penance. Here Lord Vishnu performed Shivarchan for Sudarshana Chakra. Shiva makes one of the thousand lotuses brought by Vishnu disappear. Maha Vishnu takes out his lotus-like eye and offers it to the Lord. He became Kamalaksha by Shiva's grace. Agasya glorified it as Dakshina Kashi Kshetra. Darshan of Sri Bhimeswara Swamy and Sri Manikyamba Ammavari, one of the Ashtadasa Shakti Peethas, is available on the banks of the Sapta Godavaras (pond) within the temple. The ruler of the field was Shri Lakshmi Narayan. Earlier Telugu region was known as Trilinga country. Sri Bhimeswara Lingam flourishes as one of the three lingas. Sri Bhimeswara Kshetra is considered as one of the pancharamas.
In one instance Kashi exiles Kashi Annapurna Devi Vyasa. Cursed Vyasa will be very sad. On the command of Kashi Visvesvara, Vyasa leaves for Daksharama Kshetra, famous as Dakshina Kashi, with ten thousand disciples. Served Sri Bhimeswara Swamy in Draksharama Kshetra. Agastya (the sage) introduces Vyasa to the surrounding areas of Draksharama in Bhimamandala. Vyasa visited all Bhima Mandals from Akasha Marga. Poet Srinath describes Nandu Vyasa's journey to Bhimamandala in Bhimeswara Puranam.
The poem "Bhimakhandam" written by Srinatha Mahakavi is related to Draksharama. Bhimamandalam praasstya, phalashruti etc. are included in this poem. The 108 Pada Shiva kshetras in the Bhimamandala are intermingled in a lotus shape seen from space.
Draksharama Kshetra has been known as the home of great Shaivites since time immemorial. Srimallikarjuna Panditaradhi was born in 1120 to Bhimana Pandit and Gauramba, the chief priests of the 12th century Draksharama Bhimeswara temple. Srimallikarjuna scholars are known as Vira Saivacharyas and Vira Saiva poets. He is famous as one of the Saiva poets.
By seeing Daksharama Kshetra, all sins will be destroyed and all auspicious things will come. Devotees perform archanas, abhishekals and annadanam for the blessings of Shiva.

Nityannadanam: There is a Monday mandapam in the north-west direction inside the temple of Sri Bhimeswara Swamy along with Sri Manikyamba. Nityannadanam is done here for the pilgrims. Devotees should first take Annaprasad coupons.
At the southern entrance of Sri Bhimeswara Swamy along with Draksharama Sri Manikyamba is the Annasatram built by Painda. Devotees should first seek Annaprasad. They give coupons (for Annaprasad) in advance.
